AMS is a full service Cessna Beech, Cubcrafter & Lycoming Authorized Service Facilities. AMS is in its 30th year in business in Palm Beach County. We have 9 Licensed Experience Mechanics most with Inspection Authorization privileges. AMS is capable to doing Major & Minor repairs of all types, Annual, 100 hour inspections

Laura & Johnny Stinson are natives of Palm Beach County.

Laura has been affiliated with Aviation for over 30 years. Thirteen years ago she became Vice President of Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, Inc. & Atlantis Aviation, Inc. and is actively working in the day to day business.

Johnny has been affiliated with Aviation for over 40 years and is an A&P Mechanic with Inspection Authorization also he is a Commercial Pilot, with Airplane & Helicopter Ratings. Johnny started flying in high school and he started working at Pahokee Airport (Palm Beach County Glades PHK in 1974 were he received his Commercial Pilots & Mechanics License. In 1978 he worked for 2 ½ years on Boeing 727s at Palm Beach International. In 1979 Laura & Johnny Started Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, Inc. at Lantana Airport (Palm Beach County Park LNA), in 1993 AMS moved to North County Airport, Palm Beach (F-45), were it is based today for over 23 years.

As of February 15, 2022, I am officially retired. It has been a long run of 33 years at AMS & 48 years in Aviation. My son John has now taken the role of President & has Complete Operational control of AMS. Laura is still Vice President. I do not hold any office, just co-founder with Laura. We have some of the best staff in the industry. Our technicians are the best in the business & very devoted to keeping your airplane flying.
